Dr. Kristin KahdyDr. Kristin Kahdy grew up loving all animals naturally following in her father’s and sister’s footsteps. There were many occasions where she frequented her father’s veterinary practice growing up, and her love and passion for medicine grew out of admiration of her father’s work. It was not until she adopted her first dog “Duke,” learning how strong the human animal bond was, that she made the decision to attend veterinary school herself. Dr. Kristin graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, and then furthered her education by completing a one year Emergency and Small Animal Medicine rotating internship in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Kristin returned to the Raleigh area in 2012 and has been enjoying the preventative care, and soft tissue surgery components of veterinary medicine. She is now excited to join her father and sister in the family practice at Riverwood Veterinary Clinic!
