Dedicated, Compassionate, Knowledgeable … just a few of the words to describe the team at Riverwood Veterinary Clinic.  We have been blessed to be a part of the Riverwood since 2016, when we adopted our English Springer Spaniel, Lola.  Since the day we stepped through their doors they have treated us, and our Lola, with such kindness and respect.  Our love for the breed is because of Dr. George Kahdy and Dr. Kathryn Kahdy, so we knew that Riverwood Veterinary Clinic would be our forever home. With each appointment, the veterinarians have taken the time to discuss every little detail regarding Lola in understandable terms and in whatever amount of time it takes.  They never seem to be in a hurry and graciously allow us to ask all of our questions in order to provide the best options for her care.  The technicians and receptionists are always so wonderful to ease our anxieties as they care for our Lola throughout numerous procedures. Personally,  I love how dedicated the entire staff is to veterinary medicine and how they show a genuine love of animals.  It is evident in every aspect of this clinic and through the compassion they show for each of their patients.  They are a true blessing to our family and especially to our “spoiled rotten” Lola.

Dr. Kathryn and Riverwood Veterinary Clinic has become a place that feels like family.  Our first Boston had Crohn’s disease, and Dr. Kathryn and team helped us maintain a high quality of life for her for much longer than that diagnosis would generally offer.  When the end came, the staff were caring and compassionate, both towards us and our sweet girl. When we brought home our Boston puppy, there was never any thought as to where to take her.  In the midst of the pandemic, they have provided an excellent level of care, helping us through the crucial first year of her development and her puppy antics, even with last minute appointments!  We can’t thank Dr. Kathryn and team enough for the exceptional level of care that they provide for our family.

Dr. Kristin Khady and all the staff at Riverwood are the best!  Beau and Bandit have always been patients of Dr. Kristin, since we brought them home 7 years ago. Every member of the Khady family has helped us through puppy parenthood, and it is the feeling that you are part of a family that makes them so great. Over the last three years, as our Bandit battled many issues, we were contacting them, what seemed like daily, everyone was kind, caring and compassionate. We trust Dr. Kristin and the staff to treat our "boys" as part of their family, and can't wait for them to meet our newest family member when we get him later this week.
